The first visit isn't measured in hours of work. We walk around the car. We look under the fenders, into the wheel wells, along the sills. We understand where it has lived, where it has suffered, what the paint hides. It's a silent dialogue.
Complete disassembly. Every bolt, every gasket, every chrome detail is photographed, labelled, stored. We build an atlas of the car — because in the end everything must return to its exact place, not one that resembles it.
We uncover the real sheet metal, beneath fillers and old repairs. We remove the rust down to the last grain, because if you leave one it comes back. We hammer, we shape, we weld. We rebuild what's missing with new metal, faithful to the original geometry. This is where you see who knows this craft.
Primers, fillers kept to a minimum, colour tests. The colour isn't the closest match in the catalogue — it's the one the factory gave her on day one. We search for it, we try it, we correct it until a trained eye would say: «yes, that's the one».
Everything returns to its place. Polished chrome, new rubber, soft gaskets, aligned glass. We adjust lights, doors, bonnets. We torque to spec. We test again. A thousand small gestures, one by one — those that make the difference between a restored car and a returned car.
Before handing her back, we look one more time. The engine starts, the door closes — that sound other cars don't know how to make. Then the keys return to the right hands, and the workshop falls silent until the next one arrives.
