Denis.

— the technical reference of the workshop.
Master restorer · Atelier Elledi

Expert in historic cars, recognised by owners for his technical competence and availability — «always available, skilled and an expert», as the clients' reviews report.

He is the person who follows every car from the first evaluation to delivery. No intermediaries: the owner speaks directly with the restorer who will work on their car.

Diary · Ch. V
  1. Tappa 01
    1978

Treviso · the beginning, in the family garage

At the age of six, crouched in his father's garage, Denis takes apart the headlight of a Fiat 500 for the first time. The passion for mechanics is born there, between oil and chrome.

  2. Tappa 02
    1989

First apprenticeship in a body shop

He begins working in a local body shop. The hands learn to read sheet metal before the head: the first welds, the first fillers.

  3. Tappa 03
    1996

    Diploma and first independent restoration

Diploma as a coachbuilder. In the same year, his first restoration carried out solo from start to finish: a Lancia Fulvia Coupé.

  4. Tappa 04
    2001

    Specialisation in hand bodywork

Period of technical training with a master panel beater. Hammering, shaping and rebuilding of missing panels enter the daily repertoire.

  5. Tappa 05
    2007

    The first race restoration

Restoration of an Alfa GT Junior prepared for the Italian Historic Car Championship. The experience on competition cars of the period begins.

  6. Tappa 06
    2012

Atelier Elledi opens · Cassola (VI)

He opens his own workshop in Via Monte Verena. The method is clear from day one: one car at a time, no shortcuts, respect for the original.

  7. Tappa 07
    2016

    Recognition at a concours d'elegance

A Maserati 3500 GT restored in the workshop earns a class recognition at a national concours d'elegance. Attention to detail pays off.

  8. Tappa 08
    2020

    Workshop expansion

The workshop doubles its working space. A paint booth dedicated to period colours is added, along with a separate bodywork area.

  9. Tappa 09
    2026

    Today

A team of specialised craftsmen works alongside Denis. The principle remains unchanged: one car at a time on the main lift, from the first look to delivery.

— and the next milestone is the car arriving at the workshop —

What we believe in

Three non-negotiable principles.

respect

Faithfulness to the original

The car is the one that was designed. We bring it back to that condition, without interpretations.

method

One car at a time

We work on a single restoration at a time on the main lift. Haste is the first thing that shows in a poorly done restoration.

detail

Even where you can't see

Internal welds, hidden screws, concealed finishes: treated with the same care as the visible parts.
