Original parts sourcing
Mechanical components, body parts, finishing details no longer in production.
Identification and sourcing of original spare parts no longer in production. We work with an established network of specialists in the historic sector, in Italy and across Europe. Every part we find is verified by number, period and origin before it goes on the car.

05 · Period research
- 01Exact identification by serial number and period
- 02Sourcing through a network of specialists
- 03Verification of origin and conformity
- 04Period-correct alternative only when no original exists
A period-faithful restoration lives or dies by the quality of the parts fitted to it. That is why over the years we have built a network of suppliers, historic dismantlers, marque clubs and private collectors that lets us find even the rarest components. When a true original genuinely doesn't exist, we say so: we never silently substitute a modern alternative.
"Finding the right part is half the restoration. The other half is fitting it correctly."
- — principioOriginal first
We hunt for the right part. Even when it takes months and three different suppliers.
- — principioVerified provenance
Number, period, stamp: every part arrives with its traceability before going on the car.
- — principioTransparency
If a component isn't original, we declare it. Trust is worth more than a shortcut.
- 01Identification
Serial number, production period, model variants: exactly which part is needed.
- 02Sourcing
Network activation: historic suppliers, clubs, collectors, specialised fairs across Italy and Europe.
- 03Verification
Physical inspection, stamp verification, evaluation of condition.
- 04Decision
When no original exists, the best period-correct alternative is evaluated and documented.
- How long does it take to find a rare part?
- Days to months. For the rarest parts the search begins at the start of the restoration, in parallel with metalwork.
- Can unavailable parts be reproduced?
- Yes, when it's the only way and the part allows it: small batch from the original drawing, with correct materials and finishes.
- Italian marques only?
- No. The network covers all the main historic European marques.
