Rust removal & anti-corrosion

The most technical phase. Without this done right, everything else comes back.

Complete rust removal, surface treatment and long-lasting anti-corrosion protection. We work down to the last compromised spot, stabilise, then protect. No shortcuts: a surface not treated correctly is a postponement you pay for years later.

What we do

03 · Full treatment

  • 01Total stripping down to sound metal
  • 02Stabilisation of residual spots
  • 03Professional anti-corrosion cycles
  • 04Substrate prepared for primers
Principles

Rust isn't covered, it's removed. Every later step — primers, paint, assembly — is worth only as much as this phase. That is why we never delegate it, never rush it, and never declare it closed until every point of the shell is sound or reconstructed.

"A car restored well shows ten years later. The anti-corrosion is what makes the difference."

    No shortcuts

Rust isn't covered. It's removed, stabilised, protected. Full stop.

    Complete treatment

Hidden areas too: chassis rails, sills, box sections. Protection is worth its weakest point.

    Professional cycles

Products certified for the classic-car sector, reaction times respected, layered applications.

Method, step by step
  1. 01Diagnosis

Mapping of compromised spots on shell, underbody, box sections. Definition of intervention scope.

  2. 02Stripping

Controlled blasting or chemical stripping depending on area, down to sound metal.

  3. 03Stabilisation

Treatment of residual spots with converters certified for the historic sector.

  4. 04Anti-corrosion cycles

Epoxy primer, internal protection of box sections, sealing of overlaps.

  5. 05Verification

Sample checks on treated areas, substrate prepared for the paint phase.

Frequent questions
Can rust be treated only where it shows?
It can, but rarely worth it. Rust restarting from an untreated point ruins the whole restoration.
How long does protection last?
Decades, with correct storage. We provide guidance on preventive maintenance.
Are box sections and underbody treated too?
Yes. Hidden areas are where rust attacks first and must be treated.
